The International Private School Program (IPSP) began in the year 2000 with the goal of providing qualified foreign students the opportunity to attend private high schools in the United States. The program was a spin-off of Nacel Open Door’s Academic Year Program and focused on the former Korean Academic Year participants who wished to return to the United States to continue their education.

Since this time the program has grown both in size and quality. The IPSP works with over 100 private schools across the United States and has over 250 students enrolled in it. We have an extensive interviewing, testing, screening, and selection process. The students selected for our program are high quality, college bound students.

The IPSP is an opportunity for schools to welcome qualified international students to their campus. Through partnership with Nacel Open Door schools are able to create an international community for their students and surrounding community while adding diversity and fostering understanding.

Our students are interested in continuing their education at high quality private schools in the United States. These students are college bound and committed to their education. Through a combination of their own unique abilities and the education our partner schools have provided recent IPSP students have been accepted to the following Colleges and Universities:
