Nacel Open Door’s short-term program offers students opportunities to experience life in the United States. Students are welcomed by our host families as members of the family. Students learn both in the classroom and in the community – whether it’s a visit to a theme park or the local fire station students get to explore and gain insight into American life.

Our students have a variety of program options to choose from and a variety of program lengths and seasons. We offer pure homestay programs where student improve their English and promote international understanding through experiencing day-to-day life with an American family. Our homeschooling and tutorial programs offer students multi-level language training in either a one-on-one or small group standing.

Nacel is happy to welcome students from Europe, Latin and South America, Asia, and the rest of the world. Programs are offered both in the winter and summer months and vary in length from ten days to eight weeks. Programs are individualized to meet the special needs of the countries we welcome students from.
