Venezuela

Venezuela is a nation of contrast: Beautiful coasts, calm plains, wild rainforest, a little desert, and crowded cosmopolitan cities.

Venezuela is a nation of contrast: Beautiful coasts, calm plains, wild rainforest, a little desert, and crowded cosmopolitan cities.

The same happens with Venezuelan teens, whose personalities vary much like their country’s geography. The common denominator with Venezuelan people, however, is the importance of family. Venezuelans refer to their entire extended family and even their pets when they refer to family.

Families get together every weekend to enjoy a barbeque or cook a big meal while they watch a game of one of the most popular sports in Venezuela – soccer or baseball. On Sundays, families typically go to church and often go to a mall to walk or just spend quality time together.

After school, most Venezuelan children stay home, play computer games, and watch movies. Some students participate in after-school sports or musical activities as well.
