Thomas - student of the month
January 2026

Ramsey, MN

Thomas from Brazil was recently selected as the Computer Science Student of the Month at his U.S. high school—a recognition that reflects his hard work and commitment! His teacher shared the following about him:

"Today, we're excited to recognize a student who has taken on an impressive challenge and met it head-on. This semester, he moved from Computer Skills for All Careers straight into Python 1, and he’s done so with confidence, determination, and an outstanding work ethic.

What makes this even more impressive is that he’s doing all of this as a foreign exchange student—learning a new programming language while living far from home and working in a language that isn't his primary one. That’s no small task. It takes courage, resilience, and a positive attitude, and he brings those qualities to class every single day.

We're proud of the effort and growth he’s shown, and it’s a pleasure to recognize him as our HS Computer Science Student of the Month. Let’s give him a big round of applause!"
