Lydia Colarusso
Director, Private School, F1 Public Programs, & Short Term Programs
As Director of the Private School Program, Lydia develops and maintains relationships with foreign partners, partner U.S. high schools, and stakeholders to create innovative programs that provide quality educational opportunities for international students. Lydia most enjoys being a part of our students’ journey as they work to achieve their educational goals.
Since 2008, Lydia has served many roles within NOD, from host parent to local rep to regional manager to short term coordinator. Prior to joining the NOD family, Lydia worked for The Vanguard Group as a a Licensed Financial Services Representative. Her combined understanding of the cultural exchange experience from different vantage points as well as her financial background provides her a well-rounded perspective for leading PSP efforts. Lydia was part of a short term exchange program to Italy and still travels extensively today. She has made long-lasting friendships with the families she has hosted from China, France, South Korea and Spain.
